The framework establishes and manages a secure end-to-end communication channel between the G&D Security Gateway client and the remote entity. The G&D Security Gateway client runs on the vehicle's central gateway for use in an electronic control unit (ECU) environment. Remote entities are, for example, network services, cloud platforms, and user mobile devices. The framework integrates intrusion detection to monitor unauthorized access to in-vehicle data resources, which are reported to a dedicated cloud security center.
