OLED is hailed as the next-generation display technology. Professor Deng believes that OLED is a more advanced technology than LCD. The second-generation quantum dot technology (QLED) is still in the research stage. At present, it has not entered the development and production, and there are still many problems to be solved. For example, in the service life, QLED and OLED are not at a competitive level at all. To catch up with OLED technology, QLED still has a long way to go.
