The problem of coverage capability in the construction of 5G NR (3.5 GHz) wireless network is analyzed, and solutions for the problem of uplink limitation are given. The interference problem between 5G NR (3.5 GHz) system and FSS system is analyzed, and the interference avoidance scheme is given. The 5G NR (3.5 GHz) indoor coverage problem was analyzed and the indoor coverage proposal was given.
1 IntroductionOn 6 June 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on the use of the 3300 MHz-3600 MHz and 4800 MHz-5000 MHz bands by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Fifth Generation International Mobile Telecommunications System (IMT-2020). (Consultation draft), below 6GHz, the frequency most likely to be used by domestic 5G is shown in Table 1:
Among them, the relatively clean continuous 200 MHz bandwidth between 3.4 GHz and 3.6 GHz is the golden frequency of 5G deployment, and its industrial support level is also the best. The industry consensus is that the 3.5 GHz band is an important anchor for 5G building resource pools. Although there are continuous and larger bandwidth spectrum resources in the high frequency band above 6 GHz, due to the relatively small accumulation of high frequency bands in China, no matter the R&D accumulation, patent layout, and industrial capacity are insufficient, the 5G is positioned too early. High frequency bands may be limited, and may even affect the realization of China's intention to have a greater goal in the 5G era.
The use of the 3.5 GHz band is one of the important factors for the success of China's 5G. This paper analyzes some key issues of 5G NR (3.5 GHz, 3.4 GHz-3.6 GHz) wireless network construction, in the hope that the future 5G network construction can be referenced.
