10 nanometer architecture

This chip uses TSMC's 10nm process, ARM's big.LITTLE size multi-core architecture, eight core chips, four A73 large cores (2.4Ghz) + four A53 small cores (1.8Ghz).

Kirin 970 integrates 5.5 billion crystal tubes in a small volume of less than 100 square millimeters, and the integration is very high. Compared with rivals: Qualcomm's current flagship chip Snapdragon 835 is 3.1 billion, and Apple A10 is 3.3 billion. .

Intelligent AI chip

The Kirin 970 has a built-in neural network unit (NPU) with a computing power of 1.92 TFP 16 OPS.
