Lighting Intellectual Property Rights Protection Center Listed

Recently, China's Zhongshan (lighting) Intellectual Property Rights Protection Center and the IPR Circuit Court Trial Ceremony was held in the ancient town. Nearly 150 people from countries, provinces, cities, and towns participated in the listing ceremony.

According to reports, the center is currently the only country that has established a single IPR rapid rights protection agency for a single industry, and is responsible for the national and provincial governments’ ability to explore the industry’s IP rights protection mechanism.

Su Zhenming, mayor of Guzhen Town, said at a ceremony that in recent years, Guzhen has attached great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights, promoted industrial transformation and upgrading with intellectual property rights, and continuously raised the level of economic development. From 2008 to 2010, the number of patent applications in the town reached more than 4,600, an average annual increase of 33%, and the number of patents granted was nearly 2,500, an average annual increase of 32%.
