When watching live broadcasts, soft solutions are better than hard solutions. This is why sometimes a channel can get stuck when the decoder is hard to solve, and switching to a soft solution can solve the problem. If you are playing a local video, then the resolution of the hard solution is definitely better than the soft solution. Because the hard solution is to use a dedicated GPU video decoder chip to handle the local video. Of course, if you want to watch a live show without a card, you still have to choose a hard solution because the video can be optimized for playback quality through a dedicated video decoding chip.
