The family is equipped with a leakage switch, and frequent tripping occurs. If you jump a few times a day and can't find the cause, it is very annoying! Some are normal trips caused by leakage, and some are not trips caused by leakage. Why do you frequently trip? There are several main reasons:
1, poor installation
The lead wires of each pile head are not firmly connected, and the looseness of the pile head will cause heat and oxidation of the pile hair, burn out the outer insulation of the wire, and emit sparks and burnt smell, causing the line to be under pressure and the air switch to operate.
2. The leakage switch does not match the load.
The actual electrical load of the home is greater than the rated current of the low voltage circuit breaker on the line. It usually occurs after the installation or addition of high-power household appliances such as air conditioners and electric water heaters. The matching air switch must be replaced.
3, electrical or line leakage, short circuit
When it is found that the electrical appliance used is leaking, just unplug the electrical faulty electrical appliance and reconnect the low voltage circuit breaker to send power. If you find that the line is leaking or short-circuiting, you must ask an electrician to solve the problem. After the low-voltage circuit breaker trips, first disconnect all the shunts, and then turn them on one by one. When a certain road is closed, the low-voltage circuit breaker can not be powered on, that is, the branch is faulty. The road should be disconnected and the other branches should be connected to transmit power. After detecting the problem of the fault shunt, it is repaired and then sent.
4, the power supply line voltage is too high
This is very dangerous and generally occurs in three-phase four-wire power supply residential buildings. At this time, look at whether the line is powered by two lines; second, see if the neighbors are also tripping; three use a multimeter to measure the incoming line voltage. Never put a low-voltage circuit breaker on hold, otherwise it will burn the appliance and cause a fire.
5, the quality of the leakage circuit breaker is problematic
Check the quality of the leakage circuit breaker first. First, the leakage current tripper is checked. Generally, the test button is used to check. When the test button is pressed, I1 and I2 are not equal due to I1 shunting, that is, the phasor and non-zero. Therefore, the leakage circuit breaker should be operated. The trip is sensitive; the second is to check whether the leakage circuit breaker can be closed under no-load condition. If it cannot be closed, the leakage circuit breaker is faulty and cannot be used. It should be replaced (do not recommend self-repair)
6, leakage circuit breaker wiring error
Check whether the phase line of a certain electrical equipment is connected to the front of the earth leakage circuit breaker so that part of the load does not pass through the earth leakage circuit breaker, so that the N line current of the earth leakage circuit breaker is greater than the phase line current, causing it to trip, or even failing to close the gate. .
7. Leakage of electrical equipment
At this point, the metal casing of the equipment is charged and can be inspected with a test pencil to find out the fault.
8. The N line and PE line on the socket are reversed.
If it is reversed, a zero-sequence current will be formed, causing the leakage circuit breaker to operate.
9, the lighting circuit, a N line of a lamp is taken from the socket circuit
Modern houses are multi-loop power supply, lighting and sockets are separately powered, lighting circuits are controlled by circuit breakers, and outlets are controlled by earth leakage circuit breakers. If the N line of the individual incandescent lamp of the lighting circuit is taken from the socket circuit, the wiring forms a zero sequence current, causing the leakage circuit breaker to operate. When checking, the socket power can be cut off (phase line and N line are cut off at the same time). If an incandescent light is not lit (after checking that the phase line has electricity and there is no voltage between the phase line and the neutral line), the N line of the lamp can be determined. From the socket loop, find the neutral access point at this location and rewire it to solve the problem.
10. The line is tripped due to moisture leakage.
Check the junction box in the kitchen and bathroom wiring. Open the wet junction box, the inside of the street is wet, there are water drops to cover this, and the individual nozzles are also dripping, which is caused by the damage of the upper waterproof layer and the infiltration of water into the electrical pipeline. At this point, all the junction boxes and switch boxes associated with them should be opened, natural drainage, natural drying treatment, and the insulation of all joints should be re-wrapped, and the line can be naturally dried for 1-2 days to solve the leakage problem (at the same time, the upper layer is handled well). Waterproof layer leaks), return to normal power supply. For new buildings, the line is more susceptible to moisture because it is not completely dry, and all rooms should be inspected.
After the above reasons are found and eliminated, if the household leakage switch (the leakage protector and the low-voltage circuit breaker are assembled together, and the overload and short-circuit protection functions are still unable to close the power transmission, please check the inlet and outlet pile heads and the incoming line of the protector. If there is no problem with the voltage, then disconnect the outlets of each group separately to check if there is an internal line fault. If there is no problem with the outlets of each group, or if the power is still not available, a new leakage switch should be replaced.
