The two only captured the LeTV video playback window but blocked LeTV. In the video web interface, Youku also blocked the website and trademark of LeTV. It also completely blocked the advertisements in LeTV. This made online users mistakenly believe that these movies and TV series come from Youku and iQiyi.
LeTV believes that the two defendants only captured TV dramas broadcasted by LeTV, but blocked all advertising and identification information. This made Internet users not aware of the existence of LeTV and could not enjoy LeTV's more network services. On the contrary, the two websites can play video dramas for free, earn their own advertising interests, and increase the satisfaction and adherence of online users to their own products. They should be unfair competition. Therefore, they should each compensate their own economic loss of 1 million yuan.
