"Head" is responsible for detection, mainly including visible light camera, infrared camera, pickup, etc. The detection head can reach 90 degrees of elevation and 10 degrees of depression, and 180 degrees of rotation, which can realize functions such as taking pictures and videos.

Compared with the artificial labor force, the patrol robot can work 24 hours a day, and complete various patrol tasks such as daily patrol, special patrol, fault patrol, and operation patrol. Take the 500 kV grass shop substation as an example. The total station test meter is nearly 400 blocks and there are more than 600 temperature measurement points. If robot patrol is used, only two people on site can complete the on-site inspection of the grass shop substation. The use of manual inspection requires four people to spend three days, so the use of robotic patrol greatly improves inspection efficiency and saves labor costs.
