With the rapid development of wireless communication, sensors and other technologies and people's awareness of security, the design of smart homes has gradually been studied. Smart home smart home integrates electronic information technology and computer control technology, and has strong information technology. In recent years, it has been deeply researched and broken.
Through the design of various types of sensor units on the system to obtain the required data information, such as indoor temperature, harmful gas detection and image monitoring, real-time effective monitoring of the home. However, at present, the design of the smart home system mainly uses the cumbersome PCI bus acquisition technology, which limits its convenience to a certain extent. To this end, we use the 32-bit ARM core microprocessor as the core, and Ethernet technology as a wireless communication network to design a smart home monitoring system based on Ethernet network.
System function architecture
The design of the home monitoring system consists of the information acquisition sensor module, the wireless transmission module, the Internet of Things platform and three parts. The overall architecture of the system adopts a modular construction mode to optimize the overall function of each part of the whole system. The overall structure of the system is shown in Figure 1. The sensor unit in the figure includes temperature sensor, humidity sensor, harmful gas detection module, etc. The Ethernet network is responsible for transmitting the collected information to the terminal host computer display, using the latest socket library to improve the stability of system data transmission in the network. Sex and reliability, realize the collection, transmission and display functions of data, and realize intelligent and networked.
System hardware design
The system is built around the ARM-based S3C6410 microcontroller module, using a small usb camera for home monitoring, wireless communication module uses Ethernet technology as the data transmission and receiving channel medium, adding each in the home monitoring system The sensor can not only realize the collection of temperature and harmful gases, but also control the functions of home appliances.
Data transmission module
The wireless network module is designed as the main core part of the system. The data transmission between the sensors is performed through the wireless network, so that the communication wiring of each sensor in the wireless network is small, and the communication efficiency and coordination are improved. The Wi Fi wireless network in the system mainly realizes the transmission of video images. The W5500 is a wireless transmission module that implements Internet network connection via SPI interface and supports TCP/IP protocol processing. As shown in Figure 2, the W5500 communicates with the main controller chip through the SPI serial external interface, and communicates with the host computer through the network cable. The data received by the n RF240L1 from the temperature sensor is sent to the W5500 through the wireless network. The network sends and sends data to the machtalk server of the host computer for real-time display and recording. The system implements short-range wireless communication based on the 8051-based enhanced 2.4GHz wireless transceiver n RF24L01, and uses radio waves as a carrier to implement data communication between sensors.
