The demo circuit 1855A is based on the LT3030, a dual-channel, micropower, low-voltage noise and low dropout voltage linear regulator. Its input voltage is an independent channel with a voltage range of 2.2V~20V.

The LT3030 is a dual, micropower, low noise, low dropout linear regulator. The device operates from either a common input supply or a separate input supply for each channel with an input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V. Output 1 / Output 2 provides 750mA / 250mA current and a typical differential voltage of 300mV. With an external 10nF bypass capacitor, the output noise is only 20μV RMS (within 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth). Designed for use in battery-powered systems, the device's low quiescent current of 120μA / 75μA makes it an ideal choice. In shutdown mode, the quiescent current is reduced to less than 1μA. The shutdown control is independent for each channel and its precise logic threshold provides voltage blocking. The LT3030 includes a PWRGD flag for each channel that indicates the output regulation status.
