At present, the LED industry in Zhejiang Province has formed a relatively complete LED industry chain including “epitaxy-chip-package-application products”, and there are iconic dragon skull enterprises in every link of the industrial chain.

For the two years of industrial development and the future situation, the development of the LED industry in Zhejiang Province should go beyond its own path. Specifically, there are three suggestions:

First, it called on the government to provide policy support for energy-saving measures in the field of LED public lighting.

The government has formulated strong policy guidelines for public lighting, such as roads, shopping malls, railway stations, airports, office buildings and other lighting projects, to contribute to the energy conservation and emission reduction of industrial energy consumption and ecological development in Zhejiang Province.

In terms of specific measures, corresponding execution methods can be issued for different promotion and application links. For example, to subsidize the consumer market, to implement government financial subsidies in the consumption of downstream end markets; for example, to issue hard standards for project acceptance, etc.; and to address the energy conservation and emission reduction responsibilities of governments at all levels involved in the Central Economic Work Conference. Second, support backbone enterprises in the industrial chain and create a healthy competitive environment.

Zhejiang’s government’s behavior is to promote “strong and strong alliances” in the industry chain by supporting key enterprises, and at the same time create a virtuous development environment for free competition.

The protection of the core technology of our province is not invaded by companies from other provinces and abroad and forms the leading edge of core technology.

3. Encourage green consumption, nurture the LED market to encourage residents to purchase LED lighting products and implement subsidy, and give priority to subsidy for residents of the province's lighting companies.

All over the world are actively promoting LED lighting products to the community and residents. In the United States, the EPA provides intelligence, technical services, energy-saving lighting product evaluations, economic efficiency analysis, and advocacy to companies; banks provide special preferential loans to companies and encourage companies to use energy-efficient lighting products.
