Yu Xiaohui said that 2016 is a year of rapid growth in China's cloud computing market. The size of the private cloud market is close to 35 billion yuan, and the size of the public cloud market is already close to 15 billion yuan. At the same time, with the joint efforts of the government and industry, Chinese companies play an increasingly important role in the international open source community and market. However, what needs to be seen is that China's cloud computing open source industry still has problems in that the market is not standardized and the views between customers and vendors are not uniform. In order to better solve these problems and promote the industry of cloud computing open source technology, this year, OSCAR organized nearly 20 events, and also released the evaluation method of OpenStack solution and "OpenStack industry development white paper", "container technology industry" The development of white papers and other achievements to eliminate the lack of understanding of private cloud open source technologies and solutions by enterprise IT personnel, non-uniform open source solution standards, and maintenance of complex pain points.

Yu Xiaohui summarized the main work of OSCAR in 2016. At the meeting, OSCAR released the first white paper on container industry in China - "The White Paper on China's Cloud Computing Industry Development Part II: The Industry Based on Container Technology" was officially released. According to the white paper, container technology has the characteristics of convenient deployment, convenient management, favorable implementation of micro-service architecture, flexible scaling, and high availability. Currently, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes are moving in conjunction with OpenStack, including the application catalog project Murano and the container project Magnum, through which users can create and deploy applications based on container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Mesos.

The white paper also pointed out that although container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes has been rapidly developed in recent years, it has quickly occupied the market by virtue of its own characteristics of lightness and reliability. However, container technology still faces some challenges: technically, the safety of container technology needs to be improved, the orchestration system needs to be improved; in the overall framework, the tools need to be improved, the well-organized orchestration tools, and the existing tools in terms of functions Perfection will be the direction of container technology development in the next period of time; in the industrial ecology, container technology has not been widely used in the market, the standard has yet to be unified, and the container community is still in the initial stage of development.

The 1.0 version of the "Container Application Scenario Requirements and Indicators" technical specification was officially released at the conference. This is the industry's first industrialization specification for container technology, which was led by Yunzhan Technology. The "Container Application Scenario Requirements and Metrics" is designed to meet the actual deployment needs of most organizations and help enterprises understand the key functions and functions of container technology in specific application scenarios. At the same time, provide specific recommendations for the application of container technology for enterprises. At present, the technical specification has been established as the research topic of China Communications Standards Association. OSCAR will continue to improve it and promote it to become the association standard, laying the foundation for the industrialization of container technology.

The "OpenStack Technology Application Scenario" technical specification version 1.0 was officially unveiled at the meeting. It was prepared by the Beijing Research Institute of China Telecom and is the first industrialization specification for OpenStack technology in China. It has been established as a research topic of China Communications Standards Association. The technical specifications describe the three main application scenarios of the OpenStack computing application scenario, the OpenStack storage application scenario, and the OpenStack network application scenario, as well as the OpenStack general application scenario, the OpenStack hybrid cloud, and the hosted cloud application scenario. The specific case has been deeply analyzed, which aims to provide reference and basis for enterprises to apply OpenStack technology in these scenarios, and accelerate the industrialization process of OpenStack technology.

The 1.0 version of the "Financial SDN Technology Capability Evaluation System" was also released. The standard is jointly developed by China UnionPay E-Commerce and Electronic Payments National Engineering Laboratory and Shanghai Bank, and is based on OSCAR. It aims to accelerate the development of SDN technology in the financial industry and promote the development of financial data centers in the direction of high availability, high security and high consistency. The "Financial SDN Technology Capability Evaluation System" has been approved by the China Communications Standards Association as a group standard, and has been piloted in industry users. The normative and credibility has been verified.

As another powerful practice of OSCAR in promoting the financial industry group standards, Yunhao Technology led the technical standard of "Banking Information Technology Operation and Maintenance System Requirements Part I: Operation Automation" prepared on the basis of soliciting opinions from many financial customers. The 1.0 version was unveiled at the conference. The technical standard includes six major parts, namely “operation automation”, “integrated infrastructure management”, “integrated operation and maintenance”, “dual-mode DCOS operation platform”, and “transportation”. “Dimensionality Assessment of Dimensional Systems” and “Assessment of Operation and Maintenance Tools”, aiming at the bank operation and maintenance management system from “single point tool” to “platform system”, from “operation and maintenance” to “operation”, to create cloud computing, large The data is supported by a new generation of O&M management system.
