However, in view of some domestic anti-virus companies, Intel's move is obviously not aimed at the anti-virus industry as simple, but to carry out a major layout, hoping to achieve a "software and hardware" transformation. It is reported that Intel launched a series of acquisitions around its software business. The target includes leading companies in different fields such as former software company Wind River and digital media service provider Havok. On Monday, Intel also announced that it will acquire the Texas Instruments cable modem business, but did not disclose the purchase price.
