2 Technical methods
The technologies and means for realizing intelligent lighting in different parts of the country are quite different. Generally speaking, there are three major categories.

(2) Intelligent light control system (X10 system, Sobo X10 system) that transmits data by power carrier;

3 Application examples The following is a description of the C-BUS system and the wireless light control system in practical applications.
3.1 C-BUS system (taking Qisheng products as an example)
The C-BUS system is a two-wire lighting management system that is connected to a network by a pair of signal lines (UTP5). Each unit is set with a unique unit address and its function is set by software, and each loop load is controlled by the output unit. The input unit establishes a corresponding contact through the group address and the output unit. When there is an input, the input unit will transition to a C-BUS signal that propagates over the C-BUS system bus. All output units receive control signals and make decisions to control the corresponding loop output.
3.1.1 Network Features
The C-BUS system adopts a "free topology" and can be designed as a topology such as a bus type, a tree type, or a star type. However, the ring network should be avoided in the system topology, otherwise the system communication will be abnormal.
The C-BUS system can consist of a single subnetwork, and each subnetwork must meet the following conditions:
(1) There are up to 100 units in the network;
(2) The maximum number of control loop addresses is 255;
(3) The transmission distance in the network is up to 1000m.

3.1.2 System Composition The C-BUS system consists of three parts: system unit, output unit and input unit.
(1) System unit: network bridge, system power supply, PC interface;
(2) Output unit: single/double/four/12-way relay, four/eight-channel dimmer, four-way analog output unit;
(3) Input unit: single/double/four-key switch, four scene switch, scene controller, four-button switch with infrared remote control, infrared sensor, brightness sensor, auxiliary input.
3.1.3 Design and installation requirements
(1) The C-BUS control bus shall be connected to the C-BUS terminal of the next unit (such as PC interface, output, input unit) from the C-BUS terminal of the system power supply in order to use the Category 5 line (UTP5). End-to-end connection (can also use star connection), up to the last C-BUS unit, can not let the C-BUS control bus form a loop in the system;
(2) There are four pairs of communication lines in one UTP5 class line, and two pairs of lines are selected (the other two pairs are reserved), and the color lines in the two pairs of lines are separated from the white lines: two color lines are spliced ​​together Connect to the positive terminal of the C-BUS terminal; the two white wires are spliced ​​together and connected to the negative pole of the C-BUS terminal, and the color line and the white line must not be connected together;
(3) The cable of the load circuit is connected to the luminaire or other electric load by the output of the C-BUS output relay (dimmer), which is separate from the C-BUS control bus and is not connected to the C-BUS input unit. Moreover, the load cable and the C-BUS control bus are respectively embedded in different cable trays (trunk/line tubes), and the distance between them should be >150 mm. Do not approach the high-voltage line of the C-BUS control bus. If it is necessary to cross the high-voltage cable, it should intersect at right angles to minimize the possibility of system interference.
3.2 Wireless intelligent light control system (taking 100% products as an example)
The wireless intelligent light control system is relatively simple in composition, that is, it consists of several digital light control devices and a wireless remote control.
3.2.1 Exterior structure
The size and structure of the digital light control unit is completely in accordance with the standard 86 switch design, which is the same as the existing mechanical switch installation. (2) Scene lighting operation: directly according to scene 1 - scene 8 can achieve user-defined lighting effects.
3.2.5 Application range
The system is not only suitable for homes, villas, conference rooms, etc., but also for the intelligent control of hotel suites. Its control functions include lighting, curtains, doorbells, TV, exhaust, background sound and more. It requires professional design, installation, and commissioning, and has strict requirements on the way of wiring, and the cost is relatively high. The wireless intelligent light control system is more suitable for installation in ordinary homes, villas, hotel suites, etc. It does not require professional design, installation and commissioning. The operation is generally the most basic type. The same series of products can be freely combined, and the repair and replacement is also very simple. It is also relatively low.
