Purpose of performance lighting
The primary purpose of the lighting is to let the audience clearly see the scenery on the stage. As for the method of lighting, it will affect the audience's visual perception of the stage setting and the impression of the whole performance. When the light can be clearly projected, the lighting designer is to enhance the dramatic effect of the whole performance, and the four basic functions of the stage lighting are: visibility, lighting motivation, lighting integration and creating an atmosphere.

2. Lighting motivation
Making the lighting look natural is one of the work of the lighting designer, which depends on the interaction of the lighting effect and the stage setting. For example, when imitating the night effect in reality, the stage lighting should be reflected from the tree-shaped luminaire in the set, or it can be projected through the set table lamp or other light source. Even if the set is not true at all, this special lighting motivation should be maintained. The lighting function is also part of the stage set design. Lighting integration is a precaution for lighting designers to improve the authenticity of the set, and this set is also provided by the director during the stage design scene. (4) Beam movement This movement includes not only the movement of the beam but also the transformation of the other three functions (brightness, luminaire distribution and color).
