Aucma's first half net profit increased by 140.12%

Aucma’s 2012 first-half performance report released today shows that the company achieved an operating income of 2.152 billion yuan, an increase of 2.43% year-on-year, and achieved a net profit of 505.32 million yuan attributable to the shareholders of the parent company, an increase of 140.12% year-on-year, and a realized earnings per share of 0.15 yuan. Domestic sales amounted to 1.794 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.69%, and export revenue was 219 million yuan, a year-on-year decline of 12.39%.

According to the disclosure in the semi-annual report, in the first half of the year Aucma refrigerators and refrigerators revenue was 1.451 billion yuan, an increase of 0.74% year-on-year, and small household appliances revenue was 59.943 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 8.42%, and washing machine revenue was 109 million yuan, down 7.61% year-on-year. Kitchenware sales revenue 788.610 million yuan, an increase of 44.26%. In addition, Aucma's electric vehicle product revenue was 358 million yuan, an increase of 4.29% year-on-year. Vending machine revenue was 5.44747 million yuan, a sharp drop of 64.07% year-on-year.

Aucma stated that in the first half of 2012, in the face of the global economic downturn, declining domestic and foreign market demand, and more severe competition in the industry, the company has implemented the scientific concept of development, adhered to the market orientation, insisted on giving priority to efficiency, and strengthened its independent operating platform and market network.
