The electric pulse therapy device introduced in this example adopts a sound effect integrated circuit, has a simple circuit structure and is easy to manufacture, and can be used for auxiliary treatment of chronic diseases such as cervical spondylosis, arthritis and rheumatic low back pain.
Circuit Operation Principle The electric pulse therapy device circuit consists of a sound effect generator and an electrical pulse generation circuit, as shown in Figure 9-9.

The sound effect generator circuit is composed of a sound effect integrated circuit IC, a resistor R and control switches S2 and S3. The electric pulse generating circuit is composed of a potentiometer RP, a transistor V, a light emitting diode VL, a step-up transformer T, and electrodes a, b.
Turn on the power switch Sl, GB provides 3V DC voltage for the whole machine.
After the IC is powered on, its O/P terminal outputs the current power signal. After the electric signal is amplified by V and boosted by T, an audio pulse voltage of 5 OV or more is generated in the W2 winding of T. The audio pulse voltage acts on the acupuncture points or the painful parts of the human body through the electrodes a and b, and the massage or electroacupuncture stimulation effect can be achieved.
Adjusting the resistance of the RP can change the stimulation intensity of the electrical pulse to the human body.
Four sound sources can be selected through S2 and S3, which can produce different electrical pulse stimulation effects.
Component selection
R selects 1/4W metal film resistor for use.
The RP uses a small-scale synthetic carbon film potentiometer with a switch (power switch Sl).
VL selects a common light-emitting diode of φ5mm.
V selects S9013 or S9014 type silicon NPN transistor.
The IC uses KD9561 or CW9561 type sound effect integrated circuit.
T uses a small transformer core, skeleton and high-strength enameled wire winding: winding Wl with φO.2lmm enameled wire wrapped around 90-100 匝, winding WZ with φ0.08mm enameled wire around 3000-3200 匝.
S1 uses a small single-pole three-position switch; S2 uses a small single-pole switch.
The electrodes a and b were made of a thin copper sheet of φ20-3Omm. The outer layer of the electrode should be covered with a layer of gauze. When using, the gauze should be immersed in salt water or traditional Chinese medicine to facilitate conduction.
